Welcome to Asian Health Website
www.asianhealth.govt.nz

The Asian Health Website is established by Auckland Regional Public Health Service (ARPHS)’s Asian Public Health in June 2005 with funding from the Ministry of Health. The website provides a single pool of Health Resources in English and various Asian languages to enhance Asian people’s access to health services and information and to assist health providers to enhance their outreach to Asian communities.

This initiative was based on the Asian Health Information Needs Analysis conducted by Janet Chen, the Asian Public Health Coordinator of ARPHS, in early 2004 following the Asian Public Health Project Report, 2003 - a public health needs-assessment of the Auckland region initiated by the Asian community and sponsored by the Ministry of Health.
